Finally, a reason to not feel guilty about watching MTV

In what was probably the coolest thing to happen on MTV since Faith No More played Caffeine to a stunned Carson Daly on TRL in the early 90s, the guys from Human Giant were on for 24 hours, running non-standard MTV programming. They had a shitload of guests on and you can catch up on all the events that happened at Subterranean blog.

There were a number of really entertaining moments, but one of the highlights for me was definitely when they played Come to Daddy by Aphex Twin. It reminded me of the time when MTV actually showed videos and I would watch to hear about new music. How crazy is that to think about now?
