Let’s make a deal

Finally…

(I’m avoque, in case you didn’t follow the link)

Yeah, I went for the deal. The extra $400 just seemed worth it to me. Not that I don’t think I could have come back to win, but having him go for the split by chip count made it an easy decision for me. Funny thing is, I almost busted out when the eventual winner spiked a three on the turn (and another on the river, just for effect) to nearly bust me out three hours into the tourney. Overall, I was extremely happy with my play. I did utilize CJ’s 10 rules for cashing in a MTT though. I busted some desperation all-ins with hands like 8d-7d and successfully came back from the brink of death with Jd-9d and A-10o. The stars were aligned and I’m (thankfully) not as painfully aware that I’m sucking on the cash game lately.

Oh yeah, and I finally realized that you can get free shit with Party Points?!?! Where the hell have I been all this time. I cashed in for a few poker books and a special little gift that I’m ashamed to admit that I ordered. To my credit though, it was free. I’ll have more on it later. Now it’s time to sit in front of the TV and watch some Flavor of Love. Flav-EEERRRRR FLAAAAAAAVVV!
