This is nice. Raise the turn with ace high and an inside straight draw? And then call double your raise? I really should have bet the flop, but I was sure that PingJockey would and I planned on pulling the old check-raise. And putting the last $5.50 in with ace high bad kicker? It’s unfortunate that this doesn’t always happen when I play on FullTilt. Instead I continually win small amounts of money on Party Poker, just to lose it all on FullTilt. Le sigh. Oh yeah, and congrats to FullTilt for finally adding hand histories.
On a completely different note: Exactly five years ago today was my first day as Texas resident. It was my first day of work as a full time NI employee. BIzarro. Five years of Texas residency. I think it’s about time I buy a handgun or at least shoot an animal.
Full Tilt or Party Poker? Pros and cons? I saw on Full Tilt that they are doing a 100% matching of your first deposit. Thanks.
Party Poker is bigger, so that means you can find any game at any limit any time. But that also means that their tournaments are HUGE (>1000) which means a tournament can drag out for 4-5 hours.
Full Tilt is smaller, so it can be hard to find a game, but they have every game imaginable. And right now I’m really liking their heads up NL tournaments (which PP doesn’t have). Play for some reason also seems to be a lot slower on Full Tilt, which annoys me.
As far as the bonuses go, I like the 100% matching and I also like that Full Tilt gives it to you in $20 increments. On PP, you have to clear the entire bonus before you see any of it.
But I definitely find myself playing on PP more than Full Tilt. I just seem to do better there.
Also, that FT bonus is going to take you forever to clear, especially if you’re playing at the lower limits.
Oh yeah, I failed to mention that about the bonus. I can clear a PP bonus in a matter of days. I’ve been working forever on this Full Tilt bonus and I didn’t even make it half way through. And it doesn’t help that I continue to bust out on FT.
You been here 5 years… yep it is time to kill something. I think I can get you started on a little Dove hunting. I’ll provided the Shotgun
