Well, after all that work it really sucks to have had poker league end in such a bad way. We end up second in overall points, but somehow that doesn’t count for anything because the first place overall team was in our same division. So that means the first, third, and fourth places teams got prizes. LAME-O!

Enough with that though. Snow Patrol made my day. I thought it was going to be a continuation of the bad luck night when we got to the show at 11pm and Snow Patrol was already playing, but it was really their encore that made the whole trip worth it in the first place. finally, a better way to try out this whole blogging thing. After some nightmare post lossage from that stupid ass livejournal web form, w.blogger has found its way to me. Livejournal points out an ongoing trend that pains my soul – web forms. Everything in the world is done on a web form now. I spent over 8 hours putting information that I already had saved in word for some interviews I just did. I wasted 8 fucking hours of my life moving interview data from one digital format into our fancy, new oracle recruiting database. I don’t think it could get much worse. If we miss our earnings again in Q4 (see here for more on missing Q3 numbers) I’ll know what the culprit will be.
